HONEY BROOK, Pa. - February 1, 2014

At 1:30 a.m. Saturday police responded to a residence in the 4800 block of Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook Borough where they discovered two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police say the suspected gunman, 29-year-old Dustin Scott Hoffman, was stalking his former girlfriend, and when the woman fled to the residence on Horseshoe Pike, he followed.

When Hoffman arrived at the residence he allegedly demanded she come outside.

Police say the woman's brother arrived at the residence and told Hoffman to leave. However, Hoffman refused and a physical altercation started between the men.

There was a pending simple assault charge involving the same woman Hoffman was allegedly stalking, including a bail condition that he have no contact with the woman. Police say the two had a child together.
