Penn State added as defendant in Paterno v. NCAA

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - February 5, 2014

The amended complaint filed Wednesday in county court near State College also provides details about the difficulties Paterno's son and another former Penn State assistant coach have had in finding work.

A statement by Paterno family lawyer Wick Sollers says the lawsuit doesn't seek any money from Penn State and isn't asking the judge to order Penn State to do anything.

The filing comes almost a month after Judge John Leete said the lawsuit's breach-of-contract claims couldn't continue unless Penn State was named as a party. A Penn State spokesman offered no immediate comment on Wednesday.
