The National Weather Service says between 1 and 3 inches of snow blanketed the area Sunday, the latest in a snow- and ice-filled winter.
The number of customers without power has dropped from a peak of about 850,000 after Wednesday's ice storm.
Most of the outages that remain are in Chester County, with 2,000 customers still out as of 10:00 p.m. Monday.
Montgomery County had over 1,00 customers in the dark, while Bucks County, Delaware, adn Philadelphia had numbers in the hundreds.
Action News was in Schuylkill Township, Chester County on Monday as PECO subcontractors continued the work to get power back on.
In all, 5,000 crews are out in the field across our area working to restore power, and all of them are facing difficult conditions amid the snow, ice and cold.
It has been six days since power went out for many people. For some perspective, it took PECO eight days to restore power to its customers following Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
