Residents warned of thefts at parks in New Castle County

Thefts have been reported in Carousel Park and at Glasgow Park. Police say the perpetrators are breaking windows to gain access to valuables inside vehicles.

Police suggest locking all windows and doors when you park and removing valuables from your vehicle to deter theft.

Anyone with information regarding thefts is asked to contact the New Castle County Police Department at (302) 573-2800.
