SOUTH PHILADELPHIA - February 22, 2014

The Action Cam was in the 1400 block of South Darien Street after the blaze broke out at 4:45 a.m. Saturday.

Firefighters arrived to find thick smoke pouring from the 2-story building.

Fire officials say firefighters were not able to get inside the building to fight the blaze. Two hours after it started, they were still trying to get the upper hand.

The fire was finally put under control at 7:09 a.m.

There was no immediate word if the building was vacant or occupied.
