Woman arrested for 2 Cheltenham Township bank robberies

Police say they have arrested the woman behind two robberies at the same bank in Cheltenham.

Police say they have arrested the woman behind two robberies at the same bank in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County.

Catherine Williamson, 51, of the 7900 block of Forrest Avenue in Philadelphia, was arrested on Tuesday.

Cheltenham Police and the FBI say Williamson robbed the Citizens Bank in the Cedarbrook Mall twice - once on February 6th and once on December 22, 2013.

In the February 6th robbery, police say Williamson entered the bank and said to the teller "Give me all 10's and 20's and keep your hands where I can see them".

No weapon was seen or mentioned, police said.

Williamson has been arraigned with bail set at $25,000 cash.

She has a preliminary hearing on March 6th.
