The fire broke out just before 10.00 a.m. Wednesday on the 1000 block of Lincoln Avenue (Route 420).
Firefighters arrived to heavy smoke coming from the building and began working to get the blaze under control.
Officials say one woman died. The victim's sister survived and was not injured.
Two dogs and two cats from a neighboring residence were rescued from the fire.
According to authorities, there were working smoke detectors in the home. Investigators say it appears that the blaze was accidental. An exact cause has not been determined.
