Pedestrian struck in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - March 11, 2014

Police say a woman, identified as Tracy Williams was struck by a white Chevy Impala as she got off of a SEPTA bus at 21st and Susquehanna Avenue around 3:30 p.m.

Authorities say Williams was thrown 20 to 30 feet by the impact.

She was rushed to Temple University Hospital where she is listed in critical condition.

"She was just lying there, and the paramedics told me to let her lay there until the paramedics come," said Whitney Jones.

So far no charges have been filed.
