Police were called around 7:00 a.m. to the Firestone Tire and Auto Store located in the Prices Corner Shopping Center on the 3300 block of Old Capitol Trail.
The suspect had broken the glass in the front door shortly after 6:00 a.m., made entry, and took money from a cash register.
Police say a similar burglary was committed overnight at a NAPA Auto Parts Store located nearby on Centerville Road.
In that instance, a white male smashed the glass door to the business, entered and stole money from the cash register.
The suspect remains at large.
