Adult store serial robbery suspect caught on video

CENTER CITY - March 27, 2014

Surveillance video shows the robbery of Danny's Adult Store at 133 South 13th Street at 12:56 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25th.

The suspect entered the store with his face partially covered. He had a gun and demanded money.

The employee handed over cash from the register in a brown paper bag.

The suspect hit Scorpio Boutique and Book Store on the 200 block of South Juniper Street twice, on March 10th and 21st.

During the March 21st robbery, which took place at at 8:23 p.m., the suspect also stole the employee's laptop.

Video from the March 10th armed robbery video shows a 24-year-old employee behind the register at 4:30 p.m. when the man came in armed with a silver pistol.

He pointed the gun at the employee and demanded money. The employee eventually dropped to his knees and held his hands behind his head while the suspect inspects the register.

The suspect was last seen south on Juniper.

Back on February 27th around 4:30 p.m., police say the suspect robbed Spruce Street Video Store on South 12th.

First, police say, the suspect came into the store and chatted with the clerk. Then, 10 minutes later, he returned with a gun and slammed the cash register on the floor to force it open.

The suspect is described as a black male, 30 to 35 years-of-age, 6' tall, light complected, medium to stocky build, 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a light tan jacket or a black winter jacket with hooded a sweatshirts underneath, dark colored jeans, and dark colored boots possibly two–tone, and armed with a handgun.

There is no word on how much money was taken in any of these instances.

None of the employees were injured in any of the robberies.
