New Jersey police arrest bank robbery suspect after manhunt

HAINESPORT, N.J. - April 4, 2014

24-year-old Joshua Smith was taken into custody after police found him in a wooded area off Creek Road.

Investigators say Smith walked into a Fulton Bank on Route 38 around 2:00 p.m. and demanded money. He got away with an undetermined amount of cash before driving away.

Police say he crashed his car at Creek Road and Crispin Road, but got into another car and sped away.

Police tracked the second car to the edge of a wooded area where he was later apprehended.

Police say Smith was the only suspect in the robbery.
