NJ on lookout for escaped bobcat

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - April 6, 2014

His name is Rocky and he's a 3-year-old, 38-pound bobcat. He's been missing from his owner's house in Stafford Township for more than a week.

Owner Ginny Fine says Rocky has been declawed and is usually timid toward strangers. But local police are telling residents to be careful nonetheless. Traps have been set around the cat's neighborhood.

Fine tells The Asbury Park Press she got the big cat in Montana and that he isn't a danger to anyone. Police say Fine was already issued a summons after Rocky escaped last October. He returned home after three days.
