It happened shortly after noon in the 4600 block of Hurley Street.
The victim told police he woke up to several people shooting him.
He was hit 6 times before the gunmen ran out.
The victim, who's in his 20's, was taken to temple university hospital for treatment.
So far, police are not commenting on a possible motive for the shooting.
