The crash happened near Exit 48 just after 8 a.m.
There were reports of a vehicle fire at the scene.
The view from Chopper 6 showed a car off the road with heavy front-end damage.
Chopper 6 was also overhead as one victim was placed in that medical helicopter.
Authorities say the victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The northbound lanes were closed for the cleanup and investigation but have since reopened.
