It happened around 7:00 Tuesday night at the Mobile Home Village and Apartments on the 3100 block of New Castle Avenue.
The exact circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear.
Police say a man, believed to be in his 50s, was wounded. He was taken to Christiana Hospital for serious injuries.
