Arrest made in Brewerytown triple shooting

BREWERYTOWN - May 3, 2014

The shooting happened around 5:00 p.m. on April 23rd, near 25th and Thompson streets.

Police say 20-year-old James Cole was driving in a black car when he opened fire striking multiple people.

A 19-year-old man was shot in the thigh and groin. He was hospitalized in critical condition.

A 22-year-old man was shot in the buttocks at was hospitalized in stable condition.

A third man, also 22 years old, was shot in the thigh.

All three victims were treated at Hahnemann Hospital and did survive.

Police say the third victim, was able to identify the suspect. He told police that he was involved in a verbal altercation with Cole two days prior to the shooting.

Cole surrendered to police on Saturday. He faces three counts of Attempted Murder and related charges.
