22-year-old Stephanie Seabury, an English teacher at Fred Fifer III Middle School in Camden, Delaware, is charged with Sexual Abuse of a Child by a Person in a Position of Trust or Authority.
Seabury is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old male student in her class.
Police were notified of the alleged relationship back in March, and their investigation revealed that Seabury and the student met on numerous occasions, meeting at prearranged locations before driving to Seabury's home at Woodmill Apartments, located in Dover.
Police retrieved surveillance footage from the school that allegedly shows the teacher and the victim exiting the school at 3:48 p.m. and walking to her car. Investigators say on or around that date Seabury took the teen to her home where they had sexual intercourse.
In addition, police say Seabury and the student exchanged several explicit phone messages and photographs.
