The shooting reportedly happened shortly before 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Morgan Boulevard and Olive Street.
The Creative Arts High School, located nearby, was placed under lockdown as a precaution during the initial investigation.
There is no word yet if anyone was injured in the shooting, though one person was transported to Cooper University Hospital.
Police are investigating.
