Alleged DUI driver charged in South Jersey fatal crash

MANTUA, N.J. - April 30, 2014

Gloucester County prosecutors say the charge against 38-year-old Toni Lee Coleman of Swedesboro stems from a crash that occurred shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday night in Mantua.

Coleman's car collided with a vehicle driven by 76-year-old John Steponick of Tabernacle. He and his 74-year-old wife, Katherine Steponick, were both hurt in the crash and were taken to a hospital, where Katherine Steponick died a short time later.

Coleman's bail was set at $100,000.

A telephone number for Coleman could not be found Wednesday, and it was not known if she had retained an attorney.
