Man falls several feet at carnival in Voorhees

VOORHEES, N.J. - May 4, 2014

It happened around 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Voorhees Town Center near the Laurel Road entrance.

Initial reports were that the victim fell 30 feet but police say the victim told them that he believes it was about six feet.

Police say the scaffolding was built to reach the rop of a ride that was under repair.

The victim lost his balance in the wind which caused him to fall.

He was taken to Cooper Medical Center conscious and alert for treatment. No word on his exact injuries.

Authorities are still investigating the incident.
