New Jersey brothers found safe, father arrested in South Carolina

New Jersey State Police have canceled an Amber Alert for two children who were abducted after their mom was found stabbed.

An Amber Alert was canceled after two Lodi, New Jersey brothers were found safe and their father was arrested.

Authorities say 7-year-old Anthony Jordan and his 8-year-old brother Nicholas Jordan were found safe in South Carolina.

They were taken from school in Lodi, Bergen County by their 47-year-old father John Jordan.

Their 39-year-old mother was found stabbed to death in an apartment on the 200 block of Garibaldi Avenue, according to our sister station WABC.

Police say Jordan fatally stabbed his wife then kidnapped his boys.

Jordan was pulled over by police near a relative's home in South Carolina. His children were safe and unharmed.

Authorities are still investigating what led up to the incident.
