It happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday near Lombard Street.
Police say the incident began around 4th and Lombard. They say a newer model Chevy Cobalt with a rear spoiler followed a Nissan westbound.
As both vehicles entered Broad Street, authorities say someone in the red Chevy fired two shots at the back of the Nissan.
One bullet hit the back of the car and the second bullet struck a passenger mirror.
Police say two women and a baby were in the Nissan at the time. No one was injured.
The wanted vehicle was last seen going west on Lombard Street.
Police continue to investigate.
