Gov. Wolf announces new businesses, jobs at Port of Philadelphia

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA -- New jobs are coming to the port of Philadelphia.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf was there Wednesday morning to announce the Southport project.

Businesses interested in building there have about two more weeks to apply.

The new jobs are expected to pay $40,000 to $80,000 dollars with pension and benefits.

The governor also said crews are in the middle of dredging the Delaware river so bigger ships can pass through.
