Vernon Odom celebrates 40 years at Action News

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- We want to congratulate Action News Reporter Vernon Odom, who arrived at 6abc 40 years ago today.

Since then he's become one of the most knowledgeable and experienced journalists in Philadelphia.

Vernon has covered everything from city council, to presidential politics, to the release of Nelson Mandela from prison in South Africa in 1990.

He's done it all. He's a great reporter and a wonderful person.
