Young Superman from Houston among Day of Giving Donors

6abc is proud to have taken part in the Disney-ABC Television Group Day of Giving, raising money for the victims of Hurricane Harvey.

This afternoon, the phone banks opened, and local leaders and celebrities stopped by the 6abc studios to show their true generosity.

More generous donations for the 6abc Day of Giving telethon.

Donations from Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia and a visit from Philadelphia favorite Kristen Alderson.

While every donation is special and important, few will be as memorable as the money from 5-year-old Jet Arellano, a real Superman. Jet raised the money by opening a lemonade stand in Old City earlier this week.

He and his family are from Houston and he has not forgotten his friends from back home.
