A new playground is open and ready to welcome children in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, Del. (WPVI) -- A new playground is open and ready to welcome children in Middletown, New Castle County.

The equipment at the Charles Price Memorial Park is 100 percent accessible for young ones with disabilities, so everyone can play together.

Members of the local Rotary Club and other leaders cut the ribbon on the project Tuesday afternoon.

The club coordinated the project by raising $400,000 dollars and securing a land grant from the town.
