GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- Fernhill Park in the Germantown section of Philadelphia got some much-needed T.L.C. Monday.

Climbers put on their harnesses to prune trees while volunteers picked up the falling branches.

Students from Wissahickon Charter School were there too, to learn about trees.

The city's parks and rec department partnered with the Fairmount park conservancy and TD bank to make this Arbor day celebration possible.
