Sparking the imagination

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- A new delivery of books will help spark the imaginations of young children in Atlantic City.

Action news was at the AtlantiCare HealthPlex Thursday morning as dozens of books were donated to the pediatric office.

This is all thanks to the AtlantiCare Foundation and Hope for Atlantic City, which has committed thousands of dollars to the project.

Families will be sent home with age-appropriate books after their doctors visits.

The goal is to help youngsters get a jump-start on reading before they are old enough for school.

More donations will be rolling in over the next two years.
