Custom officers seize counterfeit watches in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Counterfeit watches that could have fetched nearly ten million dollars on the street are now being destroyed.

Customs officers seized 699 fake Rolex and other fake high-end watches in Philadelphia.

They arrived from Hong Kong hidden in a parcel labeled as lithium batteries.

The poor quality of the packaging got the attention of agents and led to the bust.
