A grandmother from Delaware has died after a light rail train hit her car in Maryland.
Police say 63-year-old Denise Thomas tried to make a left turn across the tracks when the crash happened Friday morning.
Officials say there were "do not enter" and "no left turn" signs posted.
Thomas was taken to a local hospital where she died.
Her 12-year-old grandson was also in the car. He was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
