Delivery driver robbed while on delivery in Delaware

SEAFORD, Del. (WPVI) -- The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery of a delivery man that occurred Friday evening.

The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. Friday, when a 20-year-old delivery man, employed by Café Milano in Blades, was on his way to deliver an order to an address in the 10000 block of Concord Road and found that the address given didn't exist.

When he phoned the number provided by the customer, he was given directions to drive down a long dirt road to the residence. When he approached the door, two subjects came from the rear of the house, one of which was armed with an unknown type of handgun.

The armed suspect demanded the victim's money. The victim complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The second suspect began rummaging through the victim's car and removed his cell phone and the food order before both suspect's fled back around the rear of the house.

The victim was not injured and returned to the restaurant before contacting troopers.
