Catholic Schools Week
A brain teaser assembly was part of the festivities at Holy Cross Regional School in Collegeville.

Men and women in uniform received an enthusiastic thank you in Philadelphia's Somerton section.

Students lined the hallways and cheered on dozens of police officers and firefighters as they walked into Saint Christopher Catholic.

They were invited to be honored with a prayer blessing and appreciation ceremony today as part of Catholic Schools Week.

Commissioner Richard Ross was also there as the children performed songs for their special guests.

A brain teaser assembly was part of the festivities at Holy Cross Regional School in Collegeville.

The students also worked today to put together bags of toiletries for those in need.

The toothpaste, first aid kits, and more will be delivered to Ann's Heart Warming Center in Phoenixville.

And students in one third grade class wrote letters of thanks to the sisters at Saint Joseph Villa in Flourtown.
