A Schuylkill Valley High School sophomore still has two more years before graduation, but he's already earned his associates degree.

Alexander Engel-Swift received his degree from Reading Area Community College Friday afternoon.

He started taking classes the summer after 8th grade.

Next year, Alexander will take courses at Kutztown University, while also taking classes at his high school.

He doesn't have plans to graduate early, he says he wants to spend the next two years with his friends.
