PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The School District of Philadelphia has called off classes Monday at John B. Kelly Elementary school.
The district reports the facilities are in the final stages of cleanup due to a mold issue uncovered last week.
As a result, the school will remain closed to students and staff on Monday, October 16.
The school has been closed since last Thursday, when traces of mold were found in several classrooms due to heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) issues and condensation damage
Kelly staff will continue to report to the Hill Freedman World Academy located at 1100 Mt. Pleasant Street, 19150.
