We'll peer into their life online via social media and hear what they think of the country's current political landscape. For over 30 years, 6abc has coordinated The Best of the Class Event - a free daylong celebration of academic achievement inviting high school valedictorians from Philadelphia and Southeastern Pennsylvania, South Jersey and Northern Delaware. The 2016 Best of Class Event took place in Monday, May 16th, at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey. Over 200 valedictorians were treated to a continental breakfast and lunch, as well as a tour of the Aquarium's newest attractions. The students were also treated to series of life-skill enhancing workshops including: A round of 'Speed Networking' led by 6abc Public Affairs Manager Niki Hawkins; A Financial Literacy workshop in college loan & credit card debt management with the non-profit Junior Achievement Southeastern President ; Social Media Branding with 6abc Social Media Producer Ashley Lewis; Career Coaching & Presentational Skills with life coach Michelle Snow; and a Time Management workshop with New Times Bestselling Author of 'Decide' and corporate trainer Steve McClatchy. The day also included the students being interviewed for the upcoming special and taping that quintessential 'Cap & Gown Shot'.
