The Pennsylvania Supreme Court will take up the case involving funding for the school district of Philadelphia.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court will take up the case involving funding for the school district of Philadelphia.

The court agreed to hear an appeal by the district and the School Reform Commission to reverse a lower court's ruling that barred the district from imposing health care costs on the teachers' union.

The SRC had voted to cancel teachers' free health benefits.

They say it was an effort to redirect 200-million into the schools.

A lower court decided that would have to be negotiated through collective bargaining.
