The 23rd annual AICP Show: The Art & Technique of the American Commercial celebrates the very best commercials of the past 12 months, honoring individual ad agencies who continue to craft advertising into an art form.

The Association of Independent Commercial Producers is a non-profit organization representing U.S. commercial agencies that produce ads for both broadcast and digital. All winners are to be archived in the Department of Film at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Honors are given in 23 categories, including: humor, cinematography, visual effects, original music, advertising, excellence in a single commercial, and advertising excellence in a campaign. Below are some our personal favorites of the 2014 winners. Check them out below.

"Smellcome to Manhood" - Old Spice

To the delight of young men and the dismay of their mothers, Old Spice Re-fresh Body Sprays are here. Spray goodbye to boyhood. Smellcome to Manhood.

"Ship My Pants" - Kmart

This spot for Kmart promotes the retailer's offer to ship your merchandise for free from Kmart.com if you can't find it in-store. The spot grabbed over 29M views and massive press coverage within just the first 4 days of being uploaded on YouTube.

"If We Made It" - Newcastle Brown Ale

When Newcastle chose not to produce couldn't afford an actual Super Bowl spot, Droga5 pulled out all the stops to show the world the ad Newcastle would have made, if they could have.

"Climate Name Change" - 350 Action

Since 1954, the World Meteorological Organization has been naming extreme storms after people. But we propose a new naming system. One that names extreme storms caused by climate change, after the policy makers who deny climate change and obstruct climate policy.

"The Epic Split" - Volvo Trucks

Watch Jean-Claude Van Damme carry out his famous split between two reversing trucks. Never done before, JCVD says it's the most epic of splits.

"The Phone Call" - RadioShack

We launched the new RadioShack during the Super Bowl with a bold commercial that closed the door on the 80's for good and ushered in a new era for the brand. The spot featured some of the most beloved celebrities and characters from the decade - Hulk Hogan, Eric Estrada, Dee Snider, Cliff from Cheers, Kid 'n Play, Alf and Chucky.

With these award presentations, the AICP continues its tour of The AICP Show and the AICP Next Awards (honoring marketing innovations in emerging media) in San Francisco, and quickly moving onto Atlanta, Minneapolis, Dallas, Austin, Richmond, Chicago and Miami over the next two months.
