93-year-old soloist sings at Coatesville HS

COATESVILLE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A 93-year-old master of singing brought his voice to Coatesville Area High School.

Marshall "Marty" Connor serenaded his alma mater at the annual Meistersingers Christmas Carol Service.

He was joined by his daughters and granddaughter, for the tradition that goes back for decades.

In fact, Connor was the very first Meistersinger Honor Soloist in 1937.

He graduated with the Class of 1938.
