'Battlebots' knockout round set to begin on 6abc

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- BattleBots is back for the summer on 6abc. And after two weeks of rough-and-tumble fighting between robots, we're down to the final 16.

We started the summer with 28 robots, and now nearly half are out of the competition.

This weekend, it's crunch time as the knockout round begins.

One of the robots competing for the crown is called "Chomp."

Its special weapon is a powerful jaw which it uses to latch onto opponents.
