Couples pair off early on night one of 'Bachelor in Paradise'

NEW YORK -- "Bachelor in Paradise" is back for a second season and we join some of our favorite past "Bachelors" and "Bachelorettes" as they try for a second chance at love. Chris Harrison introduced the show from sunny sandy Mexico. Then we got introduced to a few of the people taking part this season including: Ashley I., Jared, Ashley S., Tanner, Jade, Jillian (who got breast implants!), Dan, Juelia, and Tenley. Jade was first to arrive on the beach, and then Jared walked in and grabbed her hand! Jade said that she felt some butterflies so we'll see what happens there! Tenley is back after a five year hiatus from "Bachelor" shows. She had been dating Kiptyn from "Bachelor Pad" but they broke up and he got a new woman pregnant. Carly walked in next and gave them all a hug and Jonathan joined the party. Next, Tanner walked in and the ladies started to swoon, especially Carly! Tanner has laser vision for Jade though. Mikey showed up and told everyone he's an "alpha male" which was a turnoff for Jade. He promised that he could get the guys "jacked" like him in a month, which Tanner was like, "um ok". I mean, they are there for love, not a workout program! Ashley I. showed up and brought her sister Lauren with her! Lauren is the mystery woman! Her sister says that she's the opposite of a virgin, so that would be the opposite of Ashley. Lauren is already saying that she doesn't care if she's labeled a "wrong reasons person". The other cast members (the women) think it's really odd that she brought her sister, but most of the guys seem to love it! Mikey moved right in on Lauren who is just 24 and he's 32. She reassured him that he isn't too old for her because she's dated 40 year olds. Right away he asked her to go in the ocean with him.

Next into paradise was Juelia and Kirk. The ladies were pretty excited about Kirk's arrival! Meantime, the sisters talked about Mikey. Lauren said that Mikey is too much of a meathead for her and she's upset that he seems to have "claimed" her. Dan walked in and the sisters discussed which guys were sexy or not. Then, Jillian joined the show with her new "ladies" and her black box butt. JJ was back as well and the women were a little disappointed that he was there. After all, he didn't come off so well on this past season of "The Bachelorette". Ashley S. walked in next and is just hilarious! I'm so excited to see what she's "really" like. Right away though she noticed a bird cage full of parrots and she went over to talk to them and pet them. Classic Ashley S. If it's not a pomegranate onion it's a parrot.

Chris Harrison called everyone over to the house and told them that at each rose ceremony if you aren't in a relationship you will go home. The guys get to hand out the roses this week and next week the girls will get their turn. The sisters apparently count as one person! What?! They are a package deal, they cannot be separated at this point, so that's strange. "Lauren can slut it up and I can stick around," Ashley I. said. Nice.

Then there was a big surprise, it was Marcus and Lacy's wedding day! They met and fell in love last season. This season's contestants sat down while Chris Harrison stood up front and other people started streaming in and sitting down on the other side of the aisle. Marcus walked in looking amazingly handsome and they all cheered for him. Lacy looked absolutely stunning! She was escorted down the aisle by her father. Chris Harrison performed the ceremony! They both said their own heartfelt vows and it was so special that they let all of their fans, and fans of the show in general, share in their special day. There wasn't a dry eye on the beach! What a great way to kick off the new season and what a great example to remind all of the contestants of what is possible if they commit themselves to actually finding love. In case you were wondering, Juelia caught the bouquet!

There was a big party that night for all of the new ladies and guys looking for love this season. All of the guys were into Jade. We'll see who might win her heart! Lauren was sitting down and crying by herself and Mikey went over to see what was wrong. She couldn't really talk to him so she went to talk to her sister, Ashley. I think she was having a panic attack or something! The ladies thought it was funny that the sisters cry so much, it must be in their genes! So Ashley put her sister to bed and then left to make a play for Jared. He's apparently the only one that she's interested in. She sat next to him for a while and didn't say anything! She literally sat there for HOURS saying nothing.

Meantime, love connections are starting to form! Carly and Kirk spent some time together, and he made fun of her very tiny little hands! They seemed to have a really great attraction towards each other and a great playfulness about them. I kept waiting for Kirk to make a move because it seemed to be awkward that they weren't kissing! Kirk admitted to her that he had an emotional and physical connection to her right away but took an eternity to make a move! He kept yammering on for a while and then she seemed to go in for it! Ha! Carly said it was one of the best kisses she's ever had! Aw, they could be a really sweet couple! They both talked to the guys and girls about how sometimes you just have to be bold, even though, Carly was a little more bold than he was!

Ashley I. is continuing to say NOTHING to Jared while sitting next to him at the bonfire. Finally, she spoke up, but when she did she started talking about her love for Jasmine (from "Aladdin"). It was a really stupid conversation! Jared walked off with Jade toward the ocean for a talk. Ashley just laid there and watched them as they were on their walk. They seemed to have a nice conversation! Ashley ridiculously thought that they were already making out on the beach and started crying about the fact that Jade "stole" Jared from her. I mean, she hardly said two words to him! Plus, let's not forget that she hardly knows the guy!

So Mikey still likes Lauren, even though she doesn't like him. But, don't worry, that's not going to make him quit trying! This should make for an interesting little story between them. The first date card arrived and it read, "Ashley I. choose a man to get dirty with on today's date." Ashley I. hung on to her card for a bit while she strategized with her sister about how to ask Jared out. Jared doesn't seem that excited about it and he doesn't know what to say if he gets asked. It seems like he's more into Jade. So, Ashley I. swigged some alcohol and then approached Jared and asked him out and he said, "Yeah".

Jared and Ashley went on their date which involved a dune buggy trudging through mud. It seemed like they had a good time out there, but Jade is still back at the house and thinking about him. Jared and Ashley talked about their "signs" and then they drove through the ocean and stopped at the beach.

Meantime, Ashley S. continued to play with the parrots. Dan came up to Ashley and played with the birds too. Maybe they could be the perfect combination of weird for each other? Back on the one-on-one date, Ashley and Jared talked about his time on "The Bachelorette" and if he was ready to find love again. He seemed to dance around the issue a bit and didn't really give her an answer.

Another date card arrived and it read, "Jade, choose a man to take on your first date in paradise." Oh boy, all of the men are waiting on baited breath to see who she chooses! Will Jared get another date?! Nope, she chose Tanner! Lucky guy! They went for a private dinner and some drinks in a little cabana on the beach. Tanner brought up the "Playboy" thing and admitted that he's doing a shoot for "Playgirl" next month. She was happy that he didn't have any kind of judgment towards her because of her past.

All of a sudden, an ambulance showed up for Ashley S. and Dan was going with her to see what was going on. He went in the ambulance with her to see if she was ok.

Back on Jade's date, there were some sparks flying for her with Tanner. He's sweet and says he has butterflies in his stomach. She went in for a kiss and they seem to have made a love connection! There was a little river and they stripped down and got into the water in their undies. The next thing you know, they were making out again!

At the house, Ashley was talking Jared's ear off about pasta and fast food and a bunch of nonsense, when all of a sudden Clare showed up! Look out! She's back! Chris Harrison gave her a date card right off the bat and she gets to ask a guy out right away. She likes Tanner, Kirk, and Jared, and all of those guys are more or less "taken" by girls that are already there. The show continues Monday night and we'll have to wait and see what happens on Clare's date. Hopefully we'll find out what happened with Ashley S. and her medical situation. The preview for this season promises a lot of drama, tears, and fighting! You know it won't disappoint!
