Former 'Bachelorette' stars Desiree and Chris expecting a baby

NEW YORK -- Former "Bachelorette" Desiree Hartsock Siegfriend and her husband Chris Siegfried, who was her pick during season 9, are expecting their first child.

The happy couple announced the news on Desiree's Facebook page on Wednesday.

According to the post "Baby Siegfried" is due sometime in October!

The mother-to-be and said in published reports that she found out she was expecting a baby while on their one-year anniversary trip in Hawaii.

Desiree and Chris, both 30, got married last year in Palos Verdes, California.

She also has a book hitting shelves on May 17th called "My Fairytale Wedding".
