Bone Thugs-N-Harmony rapper saves driver in diabetic shock in Wyoming

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper Layzie Bone helped save a man's life in Wyoming after that man went into a diabetic shock and lost control of his car.

The rapper, whose real name is Steven Howse, told ABC-affiliate KTWO-TV he was traveling from Casper to Riverton with his entourage when he encountered an erratic driver and feared for his life.

"He started swerving," the rapper told KTWO-TV. "We like, 'Oh, my god, this guy's gonna kill himself.' He hit the dirt and came back, and when the concrete met his tires, he started spinning instantly."

When the car stopped, Layzie approached the man and found out he was suffering from low blood sugar due to diabetes and was barely conscious.

"He didn't know who anybody was, so I said, 'Do you know Bone Thugs-n-Harmony?' And he kinda woke up," the 40-year-old rapper said. "He was like, 'Yeah.'"

Layzie then offered fruit and chocolate to the 24-year-old diabetic to help him recover.

"I think we all should look out for each other. Each one teach one," Layzie told KTWO. "I learned that from my grandparents."

Layzie posted about the experience, along with a photo from the scene, to his Facebook page.

"Thanks to the EMS on the scene that happens to be driving right behind us from Indiana and the cute old couple in the RV for the apples and oranges we gave him. My heart is still racing," he wrote.

The rapper was praised on social media for his actions.

"I'm sure there are people who are shocked that you would help," one Facebook user wrote. "Kindness and compassion are great qualities to behold!"
