LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A video of a group of students rehearsing a medley of Led Zeppelin xylophone covers is taking the Internet by storm.

The video, posted to YouTube three months ago by the Louisville Leopard Percussionists, is suddenly skyrocketing in popularity.

The 2014-15 Louisville Leopard Percussionists rehearsed "Kashmir," "The Ocean," and "Immigrant Song."

"You might be cool, but you will never, ever, be as cool as a middle school kid playing Kasmir on a xylophone while little bonhams smash kits," YouTube fan Arthur Johnson commented.

The group was started in 1993 by Louisville native and elementary school teacher Diane Downs. They are a performing ensemble of approximately 55 student musicians, ages 7-12, living in and around Louisville, Kentucky. The students learn and acquire proficiency on several instruments, such as marimbas, xylophone, vibraphone, drum set, timbales, congas, bongos and piano.

The non-profit group is planning its big annual fundraiser in Louisville for April 19. The percussionists' website says they've opened for the band My Morning Jacket in concert and have been featured on HBO.
