Star Wars wookie calling contest in Dallas

DALLAS, Tex. (WPVI) -- Star Wars fans in Dallas turned out for a wookie calling contest!

The prize was two free tickets to a 3D showing of the next installment of the series - "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

The winner, Al Bicking said he didn't practice for the contest at all.

The Dallas area happens to be the home of Peter Mayhew, the actor who portrays Chewbacca.

The Force Awakens comes out on December 18th. It's from Disney, the parent company of 6abc.
