May 10th, 2015 (WPVI) -- Food, art and the law are coming together in a one-of-a-kind exhibition.

It's called City Bites and it's an exhibit you can literally feast your eyes on. It's on view at Griesing Law in Center City, a firm that's developed a reputation for showcasing Philadelphia artists in the offices where they practice.

"This is our 9th art show of our Philadelphia artist series," says Griesing Law Founder, Fran Griesing, "when we first moved to this space 4 years ago with all this beautiful light, all these walls, I really wanted to have wonderful things around, beautiful things to look at."

The Griesing law offices at 18th and Arch Streets double as an art gallery. And the art is for show and for sale, with all proceeds going to the artists.

"We love to support the arts and a lot of our lawyers are involved in supporting the arts," says Griesing.

Their current exhibit City Bites displays the work of an artist and photographer who share a love of food.

"It is all the local food, local ingredients and local places so it's a lot of hyper local things that we love here in Philadelphia," says photographer Michael Persico who worked directly with Philly's top chefs like Zahav's Michael Solomonov and Marc Vetri to capture their culinary works of art.

"The still-lifes were done in a bunch of different restaurants around town-La Peg, Osteria," says Persico.

"I've learned a long time ago I paint much better when I like my subject and I really like food so that helps," says artist Mike Geno who painted recognizable favorites like Federal Donuts and Zama sushi.

"I decided to do a series of chef plates to represent all the great chefs we have in Philadelphia," says Geno.

City Bites is on exhibit at Griesing Law through August 31st. You can go their website, http://www.griesinglaw.com/, to schedule an appointment.
