VIDEO: Lion cubs play at Philadelphia Zoo

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Zoo is celebrating the first lion cubs born at the zoo since 1996.

The zoo has released video of the mother and her cubs, roughly a week after their birth.

Born during the early morning of Thursday, June 26, this is the first litter for Tajiri and Makini and expands the pride in First Niagara Big Cat Falls.

The zoo says the four African lion cubs will likely make their public debut in a few months.
