Phillies' Opening Day headlines a huge sports weekend and John Mayer comes to town.

Big sports weekend on tap in Philly

Baseball is back at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies home opener is Friday afternoon. They host the Washington Nationals for a 3-game series. And that's just the start of a busy sports weekend.

In other Philly sports, The Union host the Portland Timbers Saturday night. The Sixers are also at home Saturday night, hosting the Milwaukee Bucks. And the Flyers play their final home games against the Columbus Blue Jackets Saturday afternoon and the Carolina Hurricanes Sunday night.

John Mayer takes the stage

John Mayer is bringing "The Search for Everything Tour" to Philadelphia. The singer-songwriter plays at the Wells Fargo Center Friday night.
