VIDEO: HOA bans sick child's pink house
Watch the report from Action News at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 18, 2017.

MISSOURI (WPVI) -- In Missouri there is a big battle brewing over a little girl's pink playhouse.

6-year-old Emma suffers from a serious auto-immune disorder, and every day she goes to her tiny playhouse in her backyard for breathing treatments.

"If I have to remove it, she would be devastated," said Emma's mother. And that's exactly what the town's homeowner's association is trying to do - take it down.

The HOA says the playhouse violates its "no shed" policy. The family argues it's not a shed - and it's not metal. They claim all of this was clear when they bought the house.

The association disagrees and is so adamant that it be removed it's threatening legal action.

The family says they will continue to fight.
