Children's sweet Christmas surprise leaves mom speechless

This mom was not expecting a third person to jump into the picture with her and her daughter.

And she most certainly was not expecting that third person to be her son home for Christmas.

Patrick Krawczykowski's family captured the sweet moment when his mom got her big Christmas surprise. Patrick's mom (who lives in Aurora, Ill.) had not seen her son (who lives in Berlin, Germany) for six months, he told Storyful.

Patrick didn't think he'd be able to afford the trip home, but his sister helped make it possible. They decided to make it a surprise for mom.

The son called their sweet present for mom "a surprise she'll never forget."
