Montgomery County offers 6 weeks paid parental leave for employees

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Montgomery County has announced it will offer a paid parental leave policy for its employees - both mothers and fathers.
The new policy gives parents up to six weeks of paid leave following the birth, adoption, guardianship, or foster placement of a child.
It makes Montgomery County the first county in our area to do so.
The new policy goes into effect February 1st.
